Hey, Bending Spoons
Hey, Bending Spoons
👋
👋
My name is Liv,
My name is Liv,
I’m a UX and Product Designer who’s just completed a BSc in User Experience Design (predicted a First). I’ve designed multiple new products and experiences from scratch—each shaped by research, driven by logic, and refined through testing. My goal: to create things that are beautifully considered and brilliantly usable.
I’m applying to Bending Spoons because I admire your bold thinking, long-term focus, and dedication to craft. I don’t just want a job—I want to grow fast, contribute meaningfully, and build alongside people who really care about what they make.
I’d love the chance to be your next Spooner.

End-to-end product thinking — Defined the problem, researched it thoroughly, prototyped, tested, and built real interactive components.
Thorough research — Used surveys, competitor analysis, user personas, empathy maps, and cognitive theory to fully understand the users and their goals.
Ownership — Taught myself new tools, built custom interactions, and solved technical hurdles—like adapting when imports broke.
Real-world impact — Vizzy tackles misinformation, short attention spans, and poor UX around data. It’s a product with purpose—and potential to change how people engage with news.

Your Values 🤝 My Values
Your Values 🤝 My Values
🚀 Ambition
I push myself to grow and take on projects that challenge me
Whether that’s designing an MVP in 54 hours or redesigning my university’s Student Union site while finishing my degree, I take on projects that stretch me. I set the bar high—and I’ll do what it takes to reach it.
🧠 Ownership
I take pride in the work I do—and I own it from start
to finish
At NUASU, I led the redesign from research to dev handoff. At SpectroVise, I built tools and training content now used globally. I stay hands-on, focus on the details, and make improvements without needing to be asked.
🔥 Tenacity
I see setbacks as
learning opportunities
Freelancing has taught me to problem-solve, stay adaptable, and learn fast when things don’t go to plan. Setbacks are part of the process—I just take them as a cue to try again, but smarter.
🧭 Long-Term Orientation
I design for what lasts, not just what looks good today
In Trust-M3, I built both the admin and customer sides of the product. In Vizzy, I planned out the full journey to make complex info feel clear and easy to use. I want the things I design to work now—and still work brilliantly later.
